Nova was a medium sized female. She had a steady, stable temperament yet a strong defense drive (as one judge put it "Oh yeah, this is the b***h that loves to fight"). Highly trainable, she was a "thinker" with a wonderful ability to problem solve. Good food, prey, and ball drives added to this package. Nova also proved to be a terrific mother, raising not only her own pups with a good balance, but helping in the socializing of the other young pups around here. In addition to her 26 lifetime HITs total, she earned the following achievements in CKC Obedience through her career: 2010 - 4 place in the Utility class at the HIT of HITs and #5 Belgian, 2009 - #7 Herding dog and #2 Belgian, 2008 - #16 All Breeds, #3 Herding dog and #1 Belgian, 2007 - #7 All Breeds, #4 Herding dog and #1 Belgian. After retiring Nova lived a spoiled life with Allison.
